PBI / DJT: Palm Beach’s Airport and How to Get to Clematis Street

PBI / DJT: Palm Beach’s Airport and How to Get to Clematis Street

The quick answer

Hey, neighbor. The airport you may still call PBI is now President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and since August 18, 2026 its airline code is DJT. It sits about 4 miles from West Palm Beach, so the ride to Clematis Street is short: Uber’s average is about 9 minutes and $18.

What changedDate
New I-95 exit signs went upJuly 2, 2026
New name took effectJuly 9, 2026
Airline code changed from PBI to DJTAugust 18, 2026

Book under DJT, because the code is what reservations, check-in, and baggage tracking use. The county still owns and runs the airport, and officials say flights and services are not affected. The airport’s address is 1000 James L. Turnage Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33406, and its website is now flydjt.org.

At the airport

The layout. DJT has one terminal with three concourses, A, B, and C, and about 31 gates. Concourse A has the fewest gates, and B and C have 13 and 14. Customs and immigration are on the lower level on the west side of the terminal.

Airlines. Allegiant uses Concourse A. American, Southwest, and United use Concourse B. Delta and JetBlue use Concourse C. Other carriers include Air Canada, Avelo, Bahamasair, Breeze, Frontier, JSX, Porter, and Sun Country. The airport’s own site features nonstop flights to San Francisco, Denver, and Los Angeles.

Traffic. The airport handled about 8.7 million passengers in 2025, up from 8.4 million in 2024, counting both arriving and departing travelers.

Construction. Concourse B is being expanded, with temporary walls in place. The final phase is targeted for summer 2028 and will add gates, seating, restaurants, a sensory room for travelers with autism or sensory sensitivities, and adult changing tables.

Parking. These rates are from the airport’s parking page, which shows no date, so confirm before you go.

Before you go

  • Search and book with DJT. Older websites and apps may still say PBI, but the airline code is now DJT.
  • Look for the new exit signs. The I-95 exit signs for the airport were updated on July 2, 2026.
  • Plan your pickup. Rideshare pickup is on the third-floor Departure Level, and picking someone up is easier from the free cell phone lot.
  • Expect some construction. Concourse B has temporary walls while the expansion continues.
  • Call the airport at (561) 471-7400 for questions the website does not answer.
  • Flying in? Flight attendants can still welcome you to West Palm Beach on arrival.
