The West Palm Beach station
Hey, neighbor. Brightline’s West Palm Beach station sits downtown, within walking distance of Clematis Street and the waterfront, and it is open every day from 5:20 a.m. until the last train departs.
- Parking: The station has a gateless garage that is open 24 hours a day. You can add parking when you book your trip, or pay when you park by scanning the QR code on the signs inside the garage. Brightline runs this garage, so the rate is set by Brightline and not by the city.
- Getting in: Touchless turnstiles read the barcode on your ticket, on your phone or in the Brightline app.
- Food and drink: Mary Mary Bar serves cocktails and food, and MRKT has to-go snacks and drinks. Wi-Fi is free in the station and on board.
- Premium lounge: Premium guests get a lounge with complimentary food and drinks.
- Getting around once you land back home: Circuit electric shuttles can be hailed through the Circuit app, and the station also has Avis car rentals and BrightBikes bike rentals.
If you are driving in, our parking guide covers the city garages and street meters nearby.
Miami and Orlando: times and fares
To Orlando, the ride from West Palm Beach takes a little over two hours, and the Orlando station is next to Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. Routes between Orlando and South Florida run 20 times a day as of October 2025, but schedules can change for events and holidays, so check the live schedule when you plan.
| Trip | Travel time | Fares from |
|---|---|---|
| West Palm Beach to Orlando | A little over 2 hours | SMART from $54, PREMIUM from $109 per guest (Orlando routes, varies by time and date) |
| West Palm Beach to Miami | To confirm from the live schedule | To confirm from the live schedule |
Brightline sells two service levels. SMART is the standard fare, and PREMIUM adds the lounge, extra legroom, and complimentary food and drinks. Promotional fares and lower tiers such as SMART Saver, SMART Select, and FLEX also appear on Brightline’s site.
Brightline’s schedule search loads by route and date, so the app or the schedule page is the place to see exact departures.
Bags, bikes, and pets
Every guest can bring two free carry-on bags plus one personal item, such as a small purse, backpack, or tote. Each carry-on can weigh up to 50 pounds and measure up to 24 x 16 x 10 inches.
- Checked bags: Standard checked bags carry a fee, and Premium guests get one standard checked bag free. Check bags at the Guest Service counter at least 30 minutes before departure.
- Orlando trips: Anything larger than a carry-on has to be checked on Miami and Orlando routes.
- Golf bags: These count as checked baggage.
- Pets: Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at stations. Carriers can be no larger than 17 x 10 x 10 inches and must fit in front of a seat, and pets have to be added to your reservation when you book. Trained service dogs do not need a carrier but must stay leashed.
- Bikes: Brightline points to a separate sports equipment policy. The BrightBikes rental at the West Palm Beach station is the simplest way to ride once you arrive.
Brightline’s baggage policy has the current fees.
Your first hour when you arrive
In Orlando, the station is inside the airport complex, so most people head straight to a ride. Brightline sells private rides and shared shuttles through its Brightline+ add-ons, including a private ride powered by Uber and shuttles run by Mears. You can also use the Avis rental partnership, or standard taxis, rideshare, and rental cars. Some hotels and resorts offer free transportation, so ask yours before you book a ride. SunRail’s nearest station is about 15 minutes from the airport, on Sand Lake Road.
In Miami, Brightline’s own site does not list onward options for the Miami station, so this part of the article stays short until we confirm them.
Coming home, the station garage is open around the clock, which makes a late return easy. If you would rather not drive at all, take the free RideWPB service from the Tri-Rail station on South Tamarind Avenue into downtown.
