The West Palm Beach GreenMarket opens its 32nd season on Saturday, October 3, 2026, and runs every Saturday through May 22, 2027, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 100 N. Clematis Street on the downtown waterfront. Admission is free. The market is closed February 6 and March 20, 2027.

Getting to the GreenMarket and Where to Park

The GreenMarket entrance is at 100 N. Clematis Street, where Clematis Street meets the Intracoastal Waterway in downtown West Palm Beach. The market spans Waterfront Commons and Centennial Square, and the Antique and Flea Market sits a few blocks west on Clematis Street.

Parking. During market hours, parking is free at three City of West Palm Beach garages: City Center (401 Banyan Boulevard), Clematis Street (500 Banyan Boulevard) and Sapodilla (640 Clematis Street). The Banyan Garage (200 Banyan Boulevard) and the Evernia Garage (333 Evernia Street) sit closest to the market and charge the City’s $5 all-day weekend flat rate. By boat. The City operates three free public docks, with room for 48 boats combined. The Clematis Street Dock is the closest to the market, and the dock is free for day use only.

By train. Brightline’s West Palm Beach station is at 501 Evernia Street in downtown West Palm Beach, and the station opened on January 13, 2018.

What to Expect at the 2026-27 GreenMarket

The 2026-27 season theme is “The World, Right Here.” Vendors represent countries across Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia, and shoppers find European pastries, Mediterranean specialties, Latin American favorites, tropical produce and international beverages alongside fresh fruit, vegetables, coffee, flowers and plants. The market hosts about 140 vendors, according to the City’s marketing and community events manager, Angela Poco. Farmers and growers form the largest category, followed by prepared foods and beverages. The market received more than 950 vendor applications in its most recent selection cycle, and judges weigh what each business offers and how it fits the overall mix. (Palms West Journal)

Awards and History: America’s #1 Farmers Market in 2026

The West Palm Beach GreenMarket won the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice award for Best Farmers Market in the United States in April 2026, its fourth title. It previously won in 2021, 2022 and 2023, the only market to take the top spot three years in a row, and it placed second in 2024 and 2025. The 2026 poll pitted the market against 19 others. The market opened in November 1995 as the first weekly public farmers market in Palm Beach County. Then-Mayor Nancy Graham started it after visiting public markets across Europe, and the first season featured 13 vendors in the Old City Hall parking lot.
