El Camino takes the Delray Beach favorite upstairs at CityPlace and makes it the biggest, loudest, most colorful room in the family. Everything is scratch-made, from the tortillas and sauces to the house sangritas, with a menu that leans on local, sustainable ingredients where it can. Start with the Short Rib Empanada, then go for sizzling Chile Rubbed Steak Fajitas or a Combo Tacos plate with crispy fish, pork belly, or carnitas. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are on the menu too, and the Coconut Tres Leches is the way to finish. The bar leans into agave spirits, Mexican beers, and craft cocktails like the Guava-Habanero Margarita. Happy hour runs daily, and the kitchen and bar stay open late, one of the few downtown spots serving past midnight. Murals and a lively room make it a good place to settle in for a while.
