Malakor Thai Café
Northwood VillageAbout
Malakor Thai Café has been a Northwood Village staple on 25th Street since 2011, in the space that used to be the Hurricane Bar & Grill. The owners kept the vintage murals the Hurricane left behind and added vibrant Thai-inspired art of their own, so the walls alone are worth the trip. Malakor means papaya, and many of the ingredients are chef grown, from the papayas in the spicy green papaya salad to the Thai chilies and the lemongrass in the Tom Kha Gai. The menu runs from Pad Thai and green curry to a full sushi bar, and the kitchen will adjust the spice to your taste. Eat inside or out on the patio. It’s an easy neighborhood regular for lunch or dinner.
