Getting there

Brightline, hotels, parking, rideshare.

The festival sits on the downtown WPB waterfront, at the foot of Clematis Street. Every arrival mode drops you within a few blocks: Brightline from Miami or Orlando lands at the station on Evernia Street, the three downtown parking garages are a short walk, and rideshare has designated zones along Flagler.

By Brightline

The West Palm Beach Brightline station is at 501 Evernia Street, about an 8-minute walk from the venue. Trains run every 1-2 hours from Miami (70 min), Fort Lauderdale (40 min), Aventura, Boca Raton, and Orlando (3 hr). Buy tickets early for Friday arrival and Sunday departure, both will sell out during festival weekend.

By car and parking

The downtown City parking garages (Banyan, City Center, Clematis, Sapodilla, Evernia) are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Pricing follows the city's weekend flat-rate schedule, generally $5 to $10 for the day. Street parking fills early.

By rideshare

Festival weekend typically has designated Uber and Lyft zones along Flagler Drive. Expect surge pricing after the Saturday headliner set wraps. Walk a few blocks north for faster pickup.

Where to stay

The sold-out 2026 debut saw 85% of attendees travel in from out of town, so hotel rooms within walking distance book out fast. The three closest options:

  • The Ben, Autograph Collection 5-min walk

Luxury boutique hotel with a rooftop bar and festival-weekend packages. Closest full-service hotel to the venue.

  • Hilton West Palm Beach 8-min walk

Resort-style pool, connected to the Convention Center. Easy walk to Clematis and the festival grounds.

  • Hyatt Place Downtown 10-min walk

Casual comfort, split distance between CityPlace and Clematis. Good midrange option for groups.

Book early. The 2026 edition had an 8,200-person waitlist with hotels sold out six weeks out.

What to expect

A Kygo-curated festival on the Intracoastal.

Palm Tree Music Festival isn't an Ultra-scale rave. It's a boutique brand run by Norwegian producer Kygo and his Palm Tree Crew, with editions in Aspen, the Hamptons, Miami, and now, as the only Southeast Florida stop outside Miami proper, downtown West Palm Beach. The lineups blend tropical house, melodic EDM, and big-tent crossovers in a waterfront setting that feels more rooftop than warehouse.

The sound

Tropical house meets festival EDM

Past Palm Tree editions have featured Kygo, Calvin Harris, Sam Feldt, Gryffin, Zedd, Sofi Tukker, John Summit, and Elderbrook. Expect a lineup in that caliber for WPB 2027.

The setting

Waterfront, sunset-forward

The stage sits at the end of Clematis Street with the Intracoastal Waterway behind it, on the waterside half of Centennial Square (same grounds as the Saturday-morning GreenMarket and the Thursday-night Clematis by Night concerts, different vibe each time). Golden hour at Palm Tree is a specific, repeatable thing. Plan to be in by 5:30 PM both nights.

The expansion

Two days, bigger capacity

2027 is the first two-day run. The format doubles the lineup slots, extends the walk-off window, and lets the city stage more interstitial programming on Clematis itself.

The crowd

Destination over local

In 2026, 85% of ticket holders traveled in. Expect a crowd closer to Aspen or the Hamptons than a local club night. Dress for sunset dinners and dancing in the same outfit.

The story so far

From one-day debut to four-year resident.

Palm Tree Music Festival debuted in downtown WPB on February 14, 2026 with Kygo and Calvin Harris headlining a single-day run on the waterfront. The event sold out, drew a record 11,000 attendees, and ended with a 85% out-of-town audience and an 8,200-person waitlist for returning rooms.

A week later, Related Ross and Palm Tree Crew announced a 4-year partnership with the City of West Palm Beach, locking the festival in through 2029. The 2027 edition is the first result of that deal: a two-day expansion aimed at the 24-to-35 demographic that drove the debut.

For West Palm Beach, Palm Tree is the clearest signal yet that downtown is becoming a destination music market. For the Palm Tree brand, this is their only Southeast Florida home base outside Miami, which is strategic. They've been intentional about not overlapping with Ultra.

Make a weekend of it on Clematis

Where to eat, drink, and keep the night going.

Pre-festival dinner

Avocado Grill for seasonal plates, Elisabetta's for Italian, Forget Me Not for cocktails and bar bites before you head to the stage. All within four blocks of the venue, all take 5:30 PM reservations easily on a Saturday.

During (walk-off breaks)

Clematis Street turns into the festival's living room during set transitions. Expect pop-up bars, DJ sets at nearby rooftops, and a crowd moving between the main stage and the surrounding blocks.

Afterparty

Roxy's Rooftop for panoramic views and a late crowd. Lost Weekend for craft beer, pool, and arcade games with the energy still up. Hullabaloo for a gastropub nightcap when you're ready to come down.

Sunday recovery

Brunch opens at a handful of downtown restaurants by 11 AM. The waterfront walking path keeps going both north and south if you want air and water before heading home.
